More than 640 people raised awareness in the field of sustainable development and more than 340 people were trained in development and implementation of Local Agenda 21 (LA 21) through 9 seminars and 20 trainings, conducted within the project throughout Belarus.

35 pilot regions have been chosen among 46 requests to receive the project’s financial support of their local initiatives and expert assistance in LA 21 and Greenways implementation. The educational trip abroad has been conducted for representatives of initiative groups of the LA 21 pilot regions. This trip aimed to acquaint participants with the Polish experience in the field of sustainable development at local level, development and implementation of LA 21.

For raising public awareness about the project activities more than 70 TV, radio reports and printing articles at local and national press were distributed. Project web site with appropriate databases and materials has been designed (www.ecorazvitie.by).
