New edition of "Key Indicators of the Labour Market" | 19 October 2011
Geneva – The International Labour Organization (ILO) has issued the 7th edition of its flagship “Key Indicators of the Labour Market (KILM)”, covering 18 indicators on employment and decent work with the latest available data for more than 200countries, areas or territories worldwide.

New issue of the ILO–Moscow Newsletter released. The Newsletter is produced four times a year in English and  in Russian, by the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
More women choosing to work, but gender equality remains a long way off | 08 March 2010
Despite signs of progress in gender equality over the past 15 years, there is still a significant gap between women and men in terms of job opportunities and quality of employment, according to a new report by the International Labour Office (ILO). The report, entitled Women in labour markets: Measuring progress and identifying challenges, says that more than a decade after the 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing adopted an ambitious global platform for action on gender equality and women’s empowerment, gender biases remain deeply embedded in society and the labour market.
